Voting or not voting up to voters: Senior General Min Aung Hlaing

During the election period, the State ensures that citizens have the right to vote, and whether they choose to vote or not is entirely the will of the voters, said Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. He made the remarks during a meeting on November 23 with district- and township-level officials, as well as local community elders, in Ma U Pin.

He stated that preparations are being made to ensure a free and fair election, and that candidates are being scrutinized in accordance with the law. Therefore, during the election period, he wants all eligible voters to cast their votes.
