The United League of Arakan/Arakanese Army (ULA/AA) is reportedly rebuilding more than 100 houses, along with a mosque, in the village of Htan Shauk Khan, located in Buthidaung Township, Rakhine State.

It has been reported that ULA/AA is in the process of rebuilding 131 houses and a mosque that belong to 131 Muslim families, which were damaged during the fighting in the village.

This reconstruction is taking place not in the old Htan Shauk Khan village, but in a new site.

At present, over 110 homes have been finished, and people are residing in them.

The newly established Htan Shauk Khan village is reported to have 131 Muslim households, comprising a total population of 800 residents. In 2017, the village's population exceeded 900 individuals; however, approximately 100 residents fled to Bangladesh and the mainland amid the conflict, resulting in a remaining population of around 800 individuals.
