In Myeik-Dawei district, two residents, including a 10-year-old boy, were reportedly killed, and six others injured during nationwide airstrikes, while the military council announced a temporary ceasefire for an additional month.
The Karen National Union (KNU) announced on June 8 that villagers were killed and wounded when bombs fell on Kyauk Ai (Ku Lay) village, Kaw Thu Leh Administrative Area, Ka Se Do Township, Myeik-Dawei district, at approximately 10:55 am on June 7.
