Two Killed in Palm Oil Plantation Airstrike

Two plantation workers were killed, and six others injured when junta aircraft bombed oil palm plantations in Chaunglamu Village, in Tanintharyi Region’s Tanintharyi Township on 24 March 2025.
At around 4:30pm on 24 March, junta aircraft dropped two 500-pound bombs on plantations owned by the Kyaw Maw - 19 company. The bombs hit a workers’ dormitory, killing two workers, aged 25 and 30, and injuring a further six, according to a worker who survived the attack.
