Two civilians aboard a motorboat transporting pigs were severely injured after the fascist terrorist military opened fire on them with a machine gun in the waters of Kyaukphyu Township.

The injured individuals have been identified as Maung Bat Pay (15 years old) and U Maung Han (52 years old), both from Citta Ra Village in Ann Township.

On June 7th, at around 9:00 AM, U Maung San Nwe, U Maung Han, and Maung Bat Pay were returning by motorboat after collecting pigs from the Min Chaung Bridge area in Ramree Township. As they reached the Thanzit River, below Aung Lan Chein Village in Kyaukphyu Township, a speed boat belonging to the terrorist military pursued them from behind and opened fire with a machine gun.

During the attack, U Maung Han sustained bullet wounds that pierced through both of his calves. Maung Bat Pay was struck by a bullet near his right shoulder and collarbone. Both are currently undergoing medical treatment for their severe injuries.

The victims have been transported to a hospital, where they continue to receive emergency medical care.

Facing ongoing defeats on the Arakan front, the fascist terrorist military has increasingly targeted and attacked innocent civilians.

Consequently, the people of Arakan are urged to avoid unnecessary travel to areas where enemy forces may be stationed. If travel is absolutely necessary, it is critical to bypass enemy positions and move with extreme caution.
