Three-year-old girl rescued after being trapped 12 hourn in debris by Myanmar Air Force bombing

A 3-year-old girl, who had been trapped in the Ngapali Lintha village located in Thandwe Township, was rescued after enduring 12 hours following an attack by the Myanmar Air Force's airstrikes at approximately 8 pm on December 29.


The Ngapali Beach Community Charity announced that 3-year-old May Kan Kaung, also known as Ma Aye Thandar Khaing, was rescued after being injured by a bombardment on December 29 at approximately 8 am the following morning.


The young girl had been trapped beneath the debris for 12 hours.


Ma Aye Thandar Khaing sustained slight injuries to her leg, and her father, U Maung Ngo, also incurred injuries.


Nine individuals, among them four children below the age of 15, lost their lives in the bombing, including the four-year-old named Ma Nwe Nwe Myo.


Twelve individuals sustained injuries, with a number of them seriously. Twenty-three houses sustained damage, and several were set on fire by powerful bombs.
