Three women killed, five people injured in recent junta airstrike in Kyauktaw


Narinjara, 14 May, 2025 


A day after the bombing in Rathedaung town of Rakhine State claimed the lives of 13 civilians, a junta airstrike on Kyauktaw resulted in the death of at least three women, according to residents. 


Today, May 14, at 3:51 p.m., a junta jet fighter released a bomb on the southern village of Wra Ma ward, located west of Shwe Kyaung, Kyauktaw. 


A witness who arrived at the scene reported that three women including a young woman were killed instantly in the attack, and there might be additional casualties. He mentioned that he witnessed five wounded men being transported for medical care.
