Reports indicate five villages in Kyaukphyu Township attacked by junta same day

In a bombing incident in Taungoo village, three women were killed, and at least five others were injured, including two schoolgirls. Reports indicate that five villages in Kyaukphyu Township were attacked by the junta in one day.
The individuals who passed away have been identified as Daw Ma Aung Tha (74 years old), Daw Su Sumar (47 years old), and Ma Win Su Htay (16 years old), all of whom lived in Taungoo village.
A witness in Kyaukphyu stated that on the evening of November 17, military aircraft released 500-pound bombs over Taungoo village, resulting in casualties.
“The junta military launched an assault on Kyaukphyu, employing all three forms of attack: ground, naval, and aerial. The airstrike is ongoing, and on that particular day, Taungoo and surrounding villages were subjected to bombing. Three individuals lost their lives in Taungoo, and at least five more were injured," a witness reported.
A community member stated that a few of the injured people are students who are currently undergoing medical care.
"The individuals who were injured consist of students, drivers, and local residents who are currently receiving medical treatment," stated the resident.
From midday until evening, the junta's air force carried out air attacks on the villages of Taungoo, Kyaukkalay, Laek Tin, Min Yat, and Than Chaung in Kyaukphyu Township. Furthermore, drones and naval aircraft were deployed in the assaults on various villages.
According to the Arakan Army (AA), the airstrike in Laek Tin village caused an explosion within a school and led to the deaths of several animals in the vicinity.
