Thai PM says he wants Myanmar to return to ASEAN as it was before

Thailand’s Prime Minister, Mr Anutin Charnvirakul, said that his country wants Myanmar to return to ASEAN as it was before. The Thai Prime Minister made the remarks during a bilateral meeting between the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Thailand held at Government House in Bangkok on the morning of August 6, local time.

The two countries are good neighborng friends and Thailand is a reliable country for Myanmar. The Thai Prime Minister said that today’s meeting was beneficial for both countries as the two countries share a long border, peace and development are mutually interrelated, and there are many opportunities for further cooperation between the two countries.
