Terrorist Myanmar Military Conducts Late-Night Airstrike on Nan Kyar Village in Mrauk-U Township (A pregnant woman killed and around 10 innocent civilians injured)
The terrorist Myanmar military launched an airstrike using a fighter jet on Nan Kyar Village in Mrauk-U Township, Arakan State, yesterday late at night on November 5, at around 11:00 PM.
A fighter jet originating from the Meiktila Air Base of the terrorist Myanmar military dropped bombs on Nan Kyar Village at approximately 11:31 PM yesterday.
During the airstrike, a pregnant woman was killed, more than 10 innocent civilians were injured, and several residential houses were damaged.
The victim killed in the airstrike was identified as Daw Thet Thet Mon (35 years old), who was four months pregnant, from Nan Kyar Village, Mrauk-U Township.
"Yesterday, when everyone was already asleep, they came and struck. I couldn't hear clearly how heavy the bomb was, but the sound was really loud. The woman who died was four months pregnant, leaving behind two daughters. Bombing like this while people are asleep is a truly despicable act. Because they are coming daily to drop bombs with fighter jets and Y-12 aircraft, the public has to live in increasing fear day by day," said a local woman from Nan Kyar Village.
Earlier on November 1, at around 5:30 PM, the terrorist Myanmar military used two fighter jets to bomb a temporary maternity hospital near Ngwe Taung Pauk Bridge in Htammarat Ward, Mrauk-U Town, killing five innocent civilians, including an infant.
Faced with defeat on the frontlines and unable to accept it, the desperate military junta is carrying out severe airstrikes against the people of Arakan, blatantly committing war crimes.
