The National Unity Government (NUG)
· In Madayar Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army conducted an aerial bombing via Y12 plane on Sidawgyi Reservoir seized by Mandalay People’s Defence Force at about 2:00 pm Wednesday. They also carried out similar attacks via UAV suicidal drones.
· According to Ministry of Human Rights-NUG, up to 1,487 civilians have lost their lives due to the junta’s airstrikes from January to August 2025.
· Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG stated that an earthquake with Richter Scale 4.9 had hit near Kyaukse of Mandalay Region at 10:52 am Thursday and an earthquake with Richter Scale 4.4 hit near Mawlight of Sagaing Region at 12:03 pm Thursday.
