The National Unity Government (NUG)

-In Kantbalu Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army conducted an aerial bombing. According to Local People’s Administration, a child aged 3 and his parents lost their lives and 7 other local people were injured.

-The Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the NUG sent a statement to the 78th Independence Day. They stated that it is necessary to join hands with unity to put an end to the dictatorship.

-Mandalay People’s Defence Force apologized to the public as they had to withdraw from the three towns they had seized. On Saturday, they stated that they would keep fighting to regain control.

-In Kantbalu Township of Sagaing Region, Local People’s Administration burnt confiscated narcotic substances.

-In the military progress report for 2025, Ministry of Defence-NUG stated that they intend to create the aspired revolution paradigm systematically in 2026 in accordance with the context.

-According to Ministry of Defence-NUG, they have been trying to gain control over Sittaung River Basin, Yangon-Mandalay Old Road Section and Mon-Tanintharyi No. (8) Union Road.

-On the 78th Independence Day, the NUG pledged that along with ethnic alliance and revolution forces, they would keep moving until the end of the military dictatorship.
