The National Unity Government (NUG) 


  • On Thursday, Moekok Township People’s Defence Force stated that they would work with other forces based in Moekok for the town not to fall under the military junta. 

  • Ta’ang National Liberation Army agreed to withdraw their forces from Moekok and Moemait after their ceasefire with the military junta. However, Mandalay PDF stated that they would partner with other revolution forces to protect the areas under the control of the Ministry of Defence-NUG. 

  • TRI Strategic Force of the PDF announced that they were trying their best for the revolution in the areas of Mandalay Region and they would continue to protect those areas. 

  • In Paungty Township of Bago Region, there was a mine attack on the junta’s Wegyise inspection Gate on Tuesday morning. 

  • On Wednesday, Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw sent a statement to the one-year anniversary of the establishment of Kayan National Army. 

  • In Kathar Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army conducted an airstrike via fighter jet on Nyaung Chaytauk Village. According to the Local People’s Administration, there were casualties among the people. 

  • Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations U Kyaw Moe Tun called for the UN to show their stand with Myanmar people by including the objection to the junta’s election in the statements of the General Assembly and the Security Council as well as the resolutions of the UN Human Rights Council.
