The National Unity Government (NUG)

-On the one-year anniversary of the Sagaing Major Earthquake, the NUG stated that those really in need faced hardships due to the junta’s restrictions on international rescue and humanitarian aid, and discrimination against the victims.

-The NUG stated that the public had to face undesirable losses and greater hardships due to the permits for sub-standard high-rise buildings under the military regime and weakness in the emergency response system.

-In Myaing of Magway Region, there were two attacks on the junta’s fire brigade. According to the People’s Defence Force, 2 Pyusawti members died and a junta soldier was seriously injured in the incidents.

-In Nattalin Township of Bago Region, Thayarwaddy District PDF (1) provided support to the displaced people in need of food.

-In Gantgaw Township of Magway Region, a member of Pyusawti Militia under the junta was caught in Kyaw Town.

-In No. (1) Regional Command under the Ministry of Defence-NUG, Tamu District Battalion (2) completed their basic military training on Friday.
