The National Unity Government (NUG)
Myingyan District People’s Defence Force under the NUG handed over underaged youth to their parents instead of letting them join the force.
In Pulaw Township of Tanintharyi Region, local defence forces attacked the junta army stationed in Kyaukkar Village.
In No. (1) Military Region under Ministry of Defence-NUG, Taungthar Township PDF successfully completed their basic military training Batch (8).
In No. (1) Military Region, Shwebo District PDF (18) completed their refreshers’ training Batch (1) and provided uniforms. Additionally, they presented financial rewards to the comrades who had returned from the Shan-Man Operation.
According to Ministry of Women, Youth and Children’s Affairs-NUG, 2,086 women have lost their lives due to the junta army over the period of more than four years from the military coup on February 1 2021 to April 30 2025. Reportedly, most of them were from Sagaing Region.
