The National Unity Government (NUG)
In Kyaukgyi Township of Bago Region, the revolutionary forces attacked the junta’s camps on Thursday. According to the Ministry of Defence-NUG, 7 junta soldiers died, 22 others were captured and several weapons were confiscated.
In Pakkoku Township of Magway Region, the revolutionary forces conducted an attack on the junta army stationed in Kamma town at 10:00 am Thursday.
The Union Prime Minister of the NUG stated that every activity related to the public administration mechanism must be intended for public interest and there must be systematic collaboration among ministries.
According to Chaung-U Township People’s Administration, local administration teams in the areas of influence in Sagaing Region were provided with the training on administration.
The Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG stated that somewhat powerful earthquakes had hit in Mandalay Region for two consecutive days.
U Kyaw Moe Tun, Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, stated that the humanitarian situation in Myanmar is getting worse and that 10.4 million women and children are badly in need of humanitarian assistance.
