The National Unity Government (NUG)

-In Myaing Township of Magway Region, there was a mine attack on the junta army. According to the People’s Defence Force, a junta soldier died and 3 others were injured in the incident.

-The Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG stated that another low-pressure area might occur over the Bay of Bengal in late May, along with the likelihood of heavy rainfall in 10 states and regions including Yangon Region.

-In Paungty Township of Bago Region, a junta-appointed 100-household leader, who was also an informant to the military junta, was shot dead.

-The Ministry of Defence under Magway Federal Unit Interim Government sent a statement of congratulations to revolutionary forces on their successful seizure of the camp of the junta’s Pyusawti Militia in Thayetkan Village of Myaing Township in Magway Unit, as part of Operation OTT.

-In Myaing Township, there was a mine attack on junta troops on their way out of Linkataw Police Station. Reportedly, a junta soldier died and 3 others were injured.
