The National Unity Government (NUG)

· On Friday morning, the junta army conducted an aerial bombing on Banmauk Town in Sagaing Region, according to the People’s Defence Force.

· In Yetashay Township of Bago Region, the dead body of a junta soldier, who had died in the battle in Swarmagyi Village, was found floating in Sittaung River.

· Magway Federal Unit Hluttaw stated that MP Dr. Ye Tun Zaw had been appointed as Chief Minister for Magway Federal Unit.

· Mandalay Interim Governing Council and Sagaing Federal Unit Interim Government called on the entire public to protest against the junta’s sham election in various ways and to keep brightening their own corner in the movements against the dictatorship.

· In Magway Region, there was a mine attack on a military truck of 20 junta soldiers from Ka-La-Ya (71) based in Aunglan Township. Reportedly, there were casualties among 16 junta members.

· In Myaung Township of Sagaing Region, the Local People’s Administration set up campaign signboards against the junta’s sham election.
