The National Unity Government (NUG)
In Kamma Township of Magway Region, No. (4) Thayet District Force seized the junta’s Yenathar Police Station. Reportedly, all the junta policemen including their chief officer ran away.
Under the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration-NUG, Special Security Task Force of People’s Police completed their training Batch (3) in a liberated area on March 31.
In Tanintharyi Region, a second sergeant from the junta’s Ka-La-Ya (273) based in Dawei Township, defected to No. (2) Myeik District People’s Defence Force, along with weapons.
In Boatpyin Township of Tanintharyi Region, 3 men conscripted by force for the junta army defected to local PDF.
According to Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG, they have been providing emergency food and shelter assistance to earthquake victims. So far, they have supported up to over 3.1 billion MMK for 13,896 households.
In Salin of Magway Region, Yenanthar Column attacked the junta camp near Wetthe Lake. Reportedly, 8 junta soldiers died.
