The National Unity Government (NUG)
-In Myaing Township of Magway Region, the People’s Defence Force managed to seize Thayetkan Village where the junta army and Pyusawti Militia had been stationed. Afterwards, they were also able to rescue 49 villagers, including women and children, who had been oppressed by the junta’s militia.
-According to Shwebo District Command (1), the documents seized from the prisoners of war caught during Operation OTT were investigated. Reportedly, it was found that some local people from Sai Pyin Town and some individuals from revolution forces had been exchanging information with the military junta.
-In Tanintharyi Township of Tanintharyi Region, 6 conscripted soldiers from the junta’s Regiment (558), without any guns, defected to the Myeik District PDF (3).
-According to the Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG, there might be scattered rainfall throughout the country due to the likelihood of a low pressure area over the middle east of the Bay of Bengal and the speed of the whirlwind from the east.
