The National Unity Government (NUG)
On Christmas, the Acting President of the NUG called for the Myanmar people to be free from the military dictatorship and to fully enjoy peace along with hope.
In Yetashay Township of Bago Region, there were simultaneous attacks on the junta camps with polling boxes in 4 local villages. According to Naypyidaw People’s Defence Force, over 10 junta members died.
In Hsin Phyu Gyung of Magway Region, the revolution forces stated that they would attack and seize all the junta camps in town. They also announced that the townspeople could move to Salin from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
In Moegok Township of Mandalay Region, there were 6 big battles and 9 clashes between the junta army and the PDFs from December 7 to 24. According to Ministry of Defence-NUG on Wednesday, there were a large number of casualties among the junta soldiers and some were caught alive.
In Pauk Township of Magway Region, there was an attack via heavy artillery on the junta army. Reportedly, 8 junta soldiers died.
