The National Unity Government (NUG)

· The NUG and the National Unity Consultative Council jointly stated that the military junta had no authority to organize an election. They added that they would also not accept a group outside of the military junta to decide Myanmar’s destiny.

· The Acting President of the NUG stated that the military junta had been in a situation to lose more regional military headquarters in addition to Northeast and Western Regional Headquarters.
