The National Unity Government (NUG)
Regarding the junta President’s invitation for peace, the National Unity Consultative Council responded that the crisis could only be resolved when the military was not involved in politics.
On Saturday, the NUCC released a statement in response to the invitation for peace by the so-called government of the junta President Min Aung Hlaing. They warned that it was just a fake invitation in order to divide revolutionary forces through the 2008 Constitution and the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement which were no longer valid.
In Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army set fire to over 30 villages within a month, according to the People’s Defence Force.
In Thayetchaung Township of Tanintharyi Region, Dawei District T5 Wings has conducted attacks via Multirotor Drone and fixed wings on the junta troops on their way out of Gone Nyin Seik Village for over 20 days.
In Gantgaw of Magway Region, a new conscripted soldier from the junta army defected to the PDF, bringing with him a gun and ammunition.
