The National Unity Government (NUG)

• In Mandalay Region, Myingyan District Force (2) caught a militia member in charge of security at a polling station in Myingyan, along with weapons.

• In Paukkaung Township of Bago Region, 55 junta soldiers died in battles for ten days, according to the People’s Defence Force.

• U Nay Phone Latt, the spokesperson of Union Prime Minister Office-NUG, stated that there had been meetings between the Special Envoy of the ASEAN Chair to Myanmar Ms. Ma Theresa P Lazaro and a representative of the NUG.

• In Natthankwin Township of Bago Region, the revolutionary forces conducted an attack via heavy weapons on a junta security outpost on January 22.

• In local battles for ten days in Paukkaung Township, voter lists were burnt in addition to 55 fatalities among junta soldiers, according to Pyi District PDF (2).

• In Myaung Township of Sagaing Region, there was an attack via heavy artillery on Kyaukyit Police Station. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died.
