The National Unity Government (NUG)
In Khin-U Township of Sagaing Unit, the junta army carried out an aerial attack on Ywarsin Village. According to the People’s Administration, 4 local people lost their lives and over 20 houses were damaged.
Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that the attempts to hastily communicate with the military junta for no apparent reason would not stop them from committing more war crimes and crimes against humanity.
In Sagaing Unit, there was a rocket attack on the junta’s Northwest Regional Command based in Monywa. According to the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration-NUG, 8 junta members died and over 20 others were injured.
U Nay Phone Latt, the spokesperson of the Union Prime Minister Office-NUG, stated that the NUG had been regularly holding discussions with ethnic revolutionary forces and that it would also include practical action beyond discussion.
The Interim Government of Sagaing Federal Unit stated that preliminary financial support had been provided to Sagaing Regional People’s Defence Force for their operation.
On Friday, Shwebo District Battalion (1) announced that Starlink internet service, which had been suspended in the area, could be used again.
In Tanintharyi Township of Tanintharyi Unit, the junta army fired heavy artillery near the school in Kywetaingone Village. Reportedly, a person lost their life while a young man aged 20 and a little girl aged 5 were injured.
