The National Unity Government (NUG)

• According to the National Unity Consultative Council, they had an exclusive meeting with the Special Envoy of ASEAN in Chiang Mai, Thailand in recent days.

• In Letbadan Township of Bago Region, an alliance of Thayarwaddy District Force (3802/2) attacked the junta army stationed in a local village.

• Under the People’s Defence Force Strategic Unit (33), Yay Guerrilla Force of Dawna Column (2) organized basic and special fighting training and 2 trainees lost their lives. Regarding the incident, the trainer was sentenced to a year in prison and received a lifetime ban for being a trainer.

• Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that the victims of the junta’s sexual violence range from 4 to 84 years of age.

• In Tanintharyi Township of Tanintharyi Region, a sergeant from the junta’s Ka-Ma-Ya (561) based in Nyaungbingwin Village defected to Myeik District PDF (3).

• In Pulaw Township of Tanintharyi Region, 6 new soldiers including a sergeant clerk and a second sergeant, along with 2 guns, defected to Myeik District PDF (1).

• In Pinlebu Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army conducted an aerial bombing attack using a fighter jet on the school in Ingar Village. Reportedly, a teacher lost her life and 10 children were injured.
