The National Unity Government (NUG) 

• In Mandalay Region, there has been fighting between the People’s Defence Force (PDF) and the junta army invading the area for the junta’s election in Taungthar Township. 

• Myanmar Permanent Representative Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that he welcomes the measures of the United Nations to take action against suspects of crimes against humanity upon their arrival in the territories of member states. 

• According to the NUG, 2,326 civilians lost their lives and 4,146 others were injured due to the junta’s airstrikes from January to December 2025, with the highest number of cases in October, August and May.
