The National Unity Government (NUG)
Under the Ministry of Defence-NUG, Mandalay People’s Defence Force (Mdy-PDF) completed their basic military training Batch (17) in a liberated area.
In Sagaing Region, a conscripted soldier from the junta army invading Pale Township, along with weapons, defected to Yinmabin District Regiment (31).
In Khin-U Township of Sagaing Region, there was heavy fighting between the junta army and the revolutionary forces on Thursday. Reportedly, the junta troops were disorganized and retreated.
According to the Ministry of Human Rights-NUG, they provided the public with education on preventive measures against aerial assaults in Chaung-U Township and supported those from a displaced camp in the first week of September.
Township Healthcare Team under the NUG provided medical care to the prisoners of war and families of the junta police including children, who had been injured in the battle to seize Zeegone Police Station.
