The National Unity Government (NUG)
According to the National Unity Consultative Council, they are absolutely convinced that President U Win Myint, who was granted amnesty under the order of the junta President Min Aung Hlaing, would not turn against the public.
U Yi Mon, Union Minister of Defence- NUG, sent a new-year statement. In it, he called for heading towards the destination based on the national unity of the recently-established Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union (SCEF).
On Saturday, Regiment (5102) of Yangon Regional Command announced that they had lost 5 comrades in the battle in Shwe Kyin Township of Bago Region.
According to the People’s Defence Force, the junta army conducted over 100 airstrikes on Ayadaw Township in Sagaing Region within five days.
In a liberated area, a local force under Ministry of Defence- NUG completed their combat refresher training on April 13.
The Ministry of Defence- NUG sent the congratulatory statement to the anniversary of the founding of Bamar People’s Liberation Army. It was mentioned that the BPLA managed to stand as a reliable army.
In Setoattara Township of Magway Unit, there was a guerrilla attack on 6 junta soldiers on 3 motorbikes on their way out of Kudaw Village of Pyusawti Militia. Reportedly, 2 of them died on the spot.
Magway Federal Unit Hluttaw issued a new-year statement, welcoming the liberation of the elected President U Win Myint from the arbitrary detention.
In Yetashay Township of Bago Region, a junta soldier brought weapons and defected to the PDF.
