The National Unity Government (NUG)

• The NUG stated that Union Prime Minister of the NUG Man Win Khine Than had discussed with the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Rotating Chair of the ASEAN, regarding the effective distribution of humanitarian aid.

• In Sintku Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army conducted aerial bombings for two consecutive days. According to Pyin Oo Lwin District People’s Defence Force, a woman aged 50 lost her life and 12 people were injured.

• On Myanmar New Year Day, Shwebo Township PDF conducted a paying-homage ceremony to the elderly.

• Mdy PDF sent a statement that they are ready to join hands with Bhama People’s Liberation Army to uproot the military dictatorship and gain federal democracy.

• Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG warned of the likelihood for thunder and lightning in Kachin State, Mandalay Region and Mon State.

• In the training completion of Aya PDF Strategic Force (29), Union Minister of Defence-NUG stated that being able to station in the delta region is a victory for all PDFs.

• In Kyungsu Township of Tanintharyi Region, there was an attack on the junta’s Pyusawti Militia in Petie Village. Reportedly, there were casualties among the junta members.
