The National Unity Government (NUG) 


  • In Pauk Township of Magway Region, there was an attack on the junta’s Regiment (99) based in Meiktila invading the area since the end of October. According to the People’s Defence Force, there were casualties among the junta soldiers and weapons were confiscated. 

  • The NUG recognized and appreciated the efforts of neighbouring and regional countries as well as the international community, including the arrangements of China and Thailand to arrest and sue local and international scam leaders, the establishment of Scam Center Strike Force by the United States, economic sanctions on criminal organizations and the announcement of the Treasury Department for property control. 

  • In Salin Township of Magway Region, a member of Township Election Commission was detained. According to the Deputy Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration-NUG, they would take legal action against that junta member under an anti-terrorism charge. 

  • In Thayet District of Magway Region, the PDF has been carrying out inspection on local road sections for military and security reasons. 

  • In Thabaitgyin Township of Mandalay Region, the PDF provided rice and edible oil to displaced people. 

  • In No. (1) Military Region under Ministry of Defence-NUG, Tamu District PDF (2) conducted a coordination meeting on Saturday.
