The National Unity Government (NUG)


  • In Salin Township of Magway Unit, the People’s Defence Force provided rice, clothes and money to about 200 displaced households.

  • Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG stated that an earthquake with Richter Scale 4 had hit near Minkin of Sagaing Unit at 7:41 am Saturday.

  • In Sagaing Unit, Ministry of Human Rights-NUG conducted training on the Code of Conduct and International Humanitarian Law in March.

  • In Paungty Township of Bago Unit, a junta troop contingent of about 60 soldiers from Ka-Ma-Ya (10) based in Pauktaw Village invaded the area. Reportedly, they were faced with a mine attack at 7:00 am on May 11.

  • Myeik District Battalion (2) announced that the PDFs had not stationed at Taku Village High School, bombed by the junta army, in Tanintharyi Township of Tanintharyi Region.

  • Dawei District PDF (1) announced that the comrades absent from the force and those on leave were to inform and serve their duty again.

  • In Pakkoku Township of Magway Unit, there was a surprise attack on the junta soldiers from a junta’s gate. Reportedly, 2 junta members died and a G3 gun was confiscated.
