The National Unity Government (NUG)
Under Ministry of Defence-NUG, two comrades of People’s Defence Force Mandalay, Monedie and Nainggyi, had taken out over 16 viss of gold belonging to the force against normal procedures. Reportedly, they were disarmed and detained.
In Yetashay Township of Bago Region, the junta army has been invading the area. Consequently, thousands of local people have had to flee.
In Sagaing Region, the junta army conducted an aerial bombing on Kalay-Tamu Road. Reportedly, there were casualties and arrests among the civilians.
In Tanintharyi Region, Kawthaung District Battalion (1) issued a warning to local people to take caution as there might be local battles anytime in Boatpyin Township.
In Natoegyi Township of Mandalay Unit, at least 3 junta soldiers died in two clashes.
Along with other PDFs and battalions, Bago District PDF has been involved in operations against the military junta in Sittaung River Valley Region.
