The National Unity Government (NUG)


Sintkai Township People’s Defence Force opened fire in memory of the comrades who had sacrificed their lives in a local battle near Taungthar Village in Chauk Township of Magway Region.


The Ministry of Defence-NUG saluted the PDF martyrs who had lost their lives in Chauk Township of Magway Unit.


In Kawthaung Township of Tanintharyi Region, a member, who had fled from the junta’s People’s Security and Anti-Terrorism Organization, defected to the PDF.


Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG issued special weather news that rainfall could continue in the middle and southern parts of Rakhine State within three days to come.


In Kamaukgyi of Tanintharyi Region, a junta’s informant was caught. Reportedly, he died due to the gunshot following his attempt to escape.


Revolution Activities


Strategic Initiative Forum (SIF) urged ASEAN, the United States, European Union and the international community to stop any political, diplomatic and economic relations with the military junta led by Min Aung Hlaing, which seems to legitimize their government.


International organizations strongly criticized the meeting between ASEAN Foreign Ministers and the junta’s Foreign Minister Tin Maung Swe. ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights expressed their concerns about that meeting and called to reject the steps which would legitimize the Myanmar military junta.


According to Political Prisoners’ Network Myanmar, the junta prison staff led by Than Myat Soe hit 15 political prisoners and kept 3 of them in solitary confinement in Mandalay Obo Central Prison.


Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)


On Saturday, Public Health Department of the Arakan Army issued a warning that flood-related infectious diseases and other health issues might occur in Rakhine State due to ongoing floods from constant rainfall.


The Military Junta


On Saturday, Anisakan Airport in Pyin Oo Lwin was opened. The junta leader Min Aung Hlaing referred to it as the door which enables local and international professionals as well as investors to come to Yadanarbone Cyber City conveniently and smoothly within a shorter travel time.


The military junta claimed that the 52-mile-long railway service, via Myitkyina to Moegaung and Moenyin, will run regularly starting from July 21.


According to the junta’s Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, the water levels of Sittaung River and Shwekyin River have been above the danger mark in Madauk and Shwekyin in Bago Region, and it might rise up to half a foot within a day to come.


The military junta announced that they had supported laboratory equipment and medications to the temporary hospital in Falam, Chin State.


The junta’s Department of Myanmar Examinations (DME) Online Service Portal will open on July 14, 2026, for students to request an appointment to collect their Grade 12 (Matriculation) official marks certificate.


The junta’s Department of Meteorology and Hydrology stated that an earthquake with Richter Scale 4 had hit near Sintku of Mandalay Region on Sunday morning.


The junta leader Min Aung Hlaing pushed to expand Myanmar’s silk industry and increase exports.

The junta’s Vice President Nyo Saw called to integrate population trends, demographic projections, and regional differences into the country’s long-term development strategies.


In Minletpan Area in the south of Myawaddy Township on Thailand-Myanmar border, there has been heavy fighting between the junta army and a combined force of Karen National Union. At such time, Democratic Karen Benevolent Army (DKBA) opened a liaison and communication office in Hpa-an. Present on the occasion were responsible personnel from DKBA, the junta army, Border Guard Force and (Karen National Union/Karen National Liberation Army-Peace Council).


The Foreign Ministry of Thailand stated that the informal meeting about Myanmar’s affairs hosted by Thailand had begun on Sunday afternoon. A delegation led by the junta’s Foreign Minister Tin Maung Swe attended it.
