The National Unity Government (NUG)


  • In a meeting with Korean MPs, Minister for Foreign Affairs-NUG Daw Zin Mar Aung called to promote diplomatic relations with South Korea and increase humanitarian assistance.

  • In Sintku Township of Mandalay Region, the military junta carried out aerial attacks on two locations. According to People’s Defence Force, a displaced person lost their life and 5 others were injured.

  • The NUG requested international institutions including the United Nations Security Council and the International Criminal Court to take immediate intervening action against the junta army attacking civilian targets.

  • On Wednesday, Council of Boards for Basic Education objected to the appointment of Ja Htwe Pan as the new Minister of Education-NUG.

  • Sagaing Federal Unit Basic Education Board released a statement in support of new Education Minister Ja Htwe Pan.

  • Natoegyi PDF provided financial and material support to the families of the martyrs who had sacrificed their lives bravely in the people’s defensive war.

  • In Shwebo Township of Sagaing Region, there was an attack on the junta army which had attempted to confiscate by force two paddy harvesters of local farmers in Myeik Village and Kinbya Village. Reportedly, 4 junta soldiers died.
