The National Unity Government (NUG)

-In Tamu Township of Sagaing Region, there was an attack on the junta army invading Nanmontar Village. According to No. (1) Military Region under Ministry of Defence-NUG, the dead bodies of 6 junta soldiers were recovered and 9 guns were confiscated.

-In Myaing of Magway Region, a combination of the revolution forces attacked and seized a junta security camp. Reportedly, a junta member died and 3 others were caught alive.

-On August 8, Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw conducted a regular coordination meeting. Reportedly, Ministry of Defence-NUG presented about their activities and action plan.

-All Burma Students’ Democratic Front Column (3) and Yesagyo Township People’s Defence Force completed their basic military training Batch (2).

-In Pale Township of Sagaing Region, the Commander of ULF and comrades paid respect to the parents of a comrade who had lost his life in the battle to seize the junta camp in Zee Phyu Gone Village. They also handed them his uniform and the Flag.

-According to Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG, there is a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal this week and there might be rainfall all over the country.
