The National Unity Government (NUG) 

• On Monday, Mandalay People’s Defence Force issued an alert for the public to take caution as there might be heavier battles against the junta army in the areas under their influence in Mandalay Region – Madayar, Sintku and Thabaitgyin. 

• With a large number of forces, the military junta has been invading the areas under the influence of the PDFs. Regarding it, Mdy PDF announced on Monday that they would try their best to defend the areas. 

• Union Prime Minister of the NUG Man Win Khine Than stated that Yangon is a key hub for the country in terms of geological position and its inhabitants have been against the military junta without hesitation since the beginning of the Spring Revolution. 

• The junta army dropped packages of ration for their forces via plane in Dibeyin of Sagaing Region. Reportedly, local PDF captured one of them. 

• In Magway Region, a conscript for the junta’s Ka-Pa-Sa (22), along with weapons, defected to Pauk Township PDF. 

• The spokesperson of the Union Prime Minister Office-NUG U Nay Phone Latt stated that the military junta is not under any circumstances at all to gain Moegok easily.
