The National Unity Government (NUG)
In Pauk Township of Magway Region, a troop contingent of about 150 junta soldiers arrived near Chaungku Village and Pyinma Village on December 3. As they have been mobilized along the hill, 2,700 people from 7 local villages have had to flee, according to the local department for humanitarian assistance and disaster risks management.
The Acting President of the NUG Duwa Lashi La stated that he would like to warn political parties which are contesting the junta’s election not to add fuel to the public’s suffering.
In Mae Sot, Thailand, Union Minister of Judiciary Affairs-NUG attended an event to mark the 77th International Human Rights Day.
According to the information team of No. (2) Military Region, Bago Regional Command was equipped with arms.
According to Ministry of Human Rights-NUG, their focal persons and strike committees have conducted training on Women and Children Protection during Conflicts, in Sagaing Region, in commemoration of the 77th International Human Rights Day.
