The National Unity Government (NUG)

-Between Kyaikto Township and Beelin Township of Mon State, the P2 Regiment (7805) conducted a guerrilla attack on a junta troop contingent on the Yangon-Mawlamyein Road.

-On Kachin Martyrs’ Day, the NUG sent a statement that they believe they will be able to closely work together with the alliance of Kachin ethnic leaders and Kachin revolutionary forces to reach the common goal; the victory of the revolution.

-A prisoner of war caught in No. (2) Military Region of the NUG admitted that the junta army had committed a massacre of 19 people including children and women by burning them to death in Nyaungbin Thar Village of Kyaukgyi Township in Bago Region.

-In No. (1) Military Region under Ministry of Defence-NUG, Shwebo District People’s Defence Force (9) conducted an event on the fourth anniversary of their establishment on August 8.

-In Taungthar Township of Mandalay Region, a junta soldier was caught alive on August 8.
