The National Unity Government (NUG)
In Yezagyo Township of Magway Region, Lwin Myo Aung (alias) Nga Lwin, the junta’s administrator, and his son Ye Man, a member of Pyusawti Militia, were shot dead at home in Ward (4) as they had attempted to escape during an arrest by the People’s Defence Force.
In Phyuu Township of Bago Region, there was an attack on a junta gate on the Yangon-Mandalay Old Highway. Reportedly, 3 junta soldiers died and a gun was confiscated.
Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG stated that an earthquake with Richter Scale 4.3 had hit near Hommalin in Sagaing Unit at 9:22 am Tuesday.
