Series of low-magnitude earthquakes recorded across Myanmar

A sequence of weak earthquakes was recorded across various parts of Myanmar from late 13 July into the early hours of 14 July, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.
The most recent tremor occurred at 7:04 am on 14 July, when a magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck approximately 42 miles northwest of the Kengtung seismic station and 11 miles northwest of Mong Khat town. The quake originated at a depth of 15 kilometres.
Earlier that morning, a magnitude 3.0 quake was reported at 4:06 am near Matara town, Mandalay Region at a depth of 10 kilometres. At 3:33 am, a magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck 22 miles southeast of Htigyaing in Sagaing Region, with a depth of 11 kilometres. Another tremor, measuring magnitude 3.8, occurred at 12:01 am, approximately 17 miles east-northeast of Wandwin in Mandalay Region, at a depth of 10 kilometres.
