Rocket Attack on Defense Equipment Factory No. 14 Kills Three, Including an Official

Revolutionary forces launched a rocket attack on the Myanmar Army’s Defense Equipment Factory No. 14 on April 20, resulting in three fatalities and 13 injuries.

The facility, located near Shaw Taung Village in Ngaphe Township, Magway Division, was targeted at approximately 2:00 PM.

According to a statement released today by the Chin Defense Force (CDF-Asho), the joint operation was carried out alongside the New Social Army (NSA), the armed wing of the Democratic Party for a New Society (DPNS).

The strike targeted a defense storage facility and a manufacturing plant, causing significant structural damage to several buildings. Among those killed on the spot were a lieutenant and twosoldiers. Thirteen other soldiers sustained injuries during the bombardment.

Witness reports indicate that junta troops fled the site in panic following the explosions, with subsequent reports suggesting internal confusion and disarray among the retreating units.

The CDF-Asho and the NSA are known allies of the Arakan Army (AA), frequently coordinating operations within the ongoing armed conflict against the Myanmar junta forces.
