A report from the Monywa Dynamite Special Task Force dated November 15 indicates that revolutionary forces launched an attack on 22 copper trucks associated with the Chinese Wanbao project in Salingyi Township, as well as on 8 armored vehicles belonging to the Northwestern Military Command (NaMaKha) headquartered in Monywa.
The vehicles were providing security for the trucks.
The attack began around 9 in the morning on November 14 with five landmines and gunfire from small arms. The vehicles were halted near the Khin Mon village area due to the attack.
Witnesses stated that three junta troops were killed, and six others sustained injuries during the attack. The wounded and the deceased were taken to Monywa by four ambulances from the health department that came from Monywa.
The assault was allegedly executed by the Chindwin Fighter Group (CFG) and the Monywa Dynamite Special Task Force (STF), which was under the leadership of the Brave Heart Army (BHA).
A member of the Brave Heart Army (BHA) sustained an injury (which is not serious).
