Regime Cronies Join Min Aung Hlaing on Bangkok Trip

Myanmar cronies joined regime leader Min Aung Hlaing’s trip to Thailand and attended a business forum there, as the countries jointly announced a bilateral trade target of US$12 billion on Thursday.

The agreement was reached during the Thailand-Myanmar Business Forum 2026 in Bangkok on Thursday, participated in by a visiting Myanmar delegation led by coup leader-turned-President Min Aung Hlaing, and the Thai government, led by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
