‘Reforms Are Not Optional’: Prominent Activist Urges NUG to Act Before It’s Too Late

Myanmar’s civilian National Unity Government (NUG) must urgently reform to avoid stagnation, prominent pro-democracy activist Dr Tayzar San has argued in a hard-hitting post.

The 35-year-old said on Tuesday that the NUG currently lacks the leadership strength necessary to steer the people’s revolution toward victory.

“To lead this revolution properly and effectively, the NUG leadership must urgently reform before it is too late. That’s what the people’s revolution is demanding,” the doctor turned activist said in a social media post called “the NUG needs urgent reform”.
