People's Party holds sign-raising ceremony in Yangon

The People’s Party’s election victory banner-laying ceremony was held on the morning of November 19 at the roadside platform under the People’s Party Yangon Region Office on Upper Pansodan Road, Kan Nok Ward, Mingalar Taungnyunt Township.

At the ceremony, the party Chairman U Ko Ko Gyi and some members of the Central Committee cut the ribbon to open the ceremony.

Then, party chairman U Ko Ko Gyi and some members of the Central Committee sprinkled the election victory banner with fragrant water, and party chairman U Ko Ko Gyi delivered an opening speech as planned.

Party chairman U Ko Ko Gyi said, “The venue for the ceremony is on the platform. When I saw this situation, what came to my mind was that we have almost lost our political platform. Because it has become dangerous to do politics with all kinds of threats and all kinds of fear.”
