Individuals are advised to remain vigilant as the Burmese junta army is set to resume its assaults on certain areas governed by the Arakan Army (AA).

In a statement issued on October 10, 2025, the Arakan Army stated that both AA and junta forces have been engaged in daily attacks in five military hotspots for both sides for several weeks.

The areas affected are the Magway Division (Nat Yay Kan), which borders the Arakan State; the Bago Region (Nyaung Kyo Strategic Zone); and the Ayeyarwady Region (within Lay Myat Nar Township), where continuous fighting takes place nearly every day.

At the same time, the fascist terrorist military commission is preparing to launch an assault on certain areas held by the Arakan Army. The statement indicated that the military's warships have been bombarding residential areas and villages with heavy artillery, resulting in the detention and death of innocent fishermen.

For example, on September 6, 2025, in Thandwe Township, Taung Magyi District, the junta navy kidnapped four civilian fishermen from Set Lei Myaw village while they were fishing close to the ocean.
