Over 28,000 students vote in advance

28,993 students studying at universities, degree colleges and colleges outside their respective constituencies cast their votes in advance, said the Union Election Commission.

The students cast their votes in advance at designated locations from November 17 to 21. Representatives of political parties also visited the students to observe their early voting. The Union Election Commission also said that students do not need to show any proof of having voted in advance when enrolling in schools.
