Over 100 Homes Destroyed by Myanmar Military Airstrikes in Kyaukphyu Township

More than 100 homes were destroyed this afternoon after the Myanmar military launched airstrikes on Shwe Hintha Ward in Sane town under Kyaukphyu Township, Rakhine State.

"Almost the entire area, including my house, has burned down," said one local homeowner.

"The fire erupted immediately following the junta's airstrikes this afternoon."

Witnesses stated that terrified residents were forced to watch their homes burn to ashes, as continuous threat of further airstrikes prevented them from attempting to extinguish the flames.

The exact number of casualties and the full extent of the property damage remain unknown. Narinjara News will provide updates as more information becomes available.
