Numerous junta soldiers display white flag at Nat Yay Kan Air Defense Base, AA says

The AA reports that troops stationed at the Nat Yay Kan Air Defense Base, currently being attacked by the Arakan Army, are fleeing in panic.

Several members of the junta army have been apprehended, and there have been ongoing surrenders displaying the white flag.

This air defense base is situated atop the tallest Rakhine Yoma mountain in Padang Township, Magway Region, and is a major target for the AA.

On October 17, certain members of the junta surrendered by displaying a white flag, while others were taken prisoner during the conflict.
